How it works

Five simple steps. Fast approvals. Free pickup for eligible sellers.

🧺 Step 1 - Select pieces to resell

Choose women’s clothing and accessories in like-new condition - no stains, holes, fading, or strong odours. Brand + size tags must be visible.

📸 Step 2 - Send details on WhatsApp

Click the Start on WhatsApp button above to open a chat. Send us (1) a quick count of items and (2) clear photos of each piece with the brand label + size tag visible.

This helps us approve faster and price accurately.

✅ Step 3 - Get approved

We’ll review your details and confirm which items we can accept for resale on WhatsApp.

🚚 Step 4 - Drop off or free pickup

Choose self drop-off (Mumbai only) or free doorstep pickup for eligible pincodes and quantities.

💸 Step 5 - Get paid when it sells

When your item sells, you’ll be paid via UPI within 3 days. We don’t pay upfront - you earn when it sells.

How do we approve or reject your items?

We accept clothes that meet the following quality guidelines:

  • Clothes should have brand and size labels
  • No stains, holes, fading or dullness, odours, shrinking, or stitching issues
  • No Myntra, Zudio, Shein, Savana, Meesho, or similar clothes since they have low resale value
  • No men's clothes, pajamas, undergarments, or heavy Indian wear
  • If an item does not pass our quality check when we receive it, you will be asked to choose if you want it returned (at your expense) or responsibly recycled/donated by Threadko.

How do I send my clothes to you once approved?

  • We offer self-drop off in Mumbai at three locations at this time. We also offer free home pick up for most pincodes
  • To be eligible, you must have a minimum of 5 approved items and a maximum of 20 approved items

What happens after I send my items to Threadko?

  • Once Threadko receives a seller's items, the seller will receive a tracker with a list of all items, resale price, and sale status
  • Sellers can price the item as they would like in the tracker or via WhatsApp
  • Once your listings are live on our website, you'll start to earn cash as each item sells
  • Threadko will charge a 25% commission on the resale price if any item is sold and the seller receives 75% via UPI within 3 business days of item sale
  • Please note that we do not pay upfront for clothing, payment is only made if an item is sold

What if my items don't sell?

  • Our standard listing window is 90 days, which means an item will be listed for 90 days for resale.
  • If items are not sold within 90 days, sellers can choose to have them returned for free or responsibly recycled/donated. Sellers can keep items listed on Threadko for another 90 days for no charge.
  • If the seller needs any items back before 90 days, they will have to pay for shipping.
